Description
2940nm Erbium YAG Laser
The 2940nm Erbium YAG Laser is a solid-state laser system designed for skin resurfacing, skin rejuvenation, lesion removal, and fractional applications. It delivers precise treatment with minimal discomfort and low thermal damage to surrounding tissues.
Treatment Principle
Therapy of 2940nm Erbium YAG Laser
The Er:YAG Laser (Wavelength: 2940nm) operates in the mid-infrared spectrum and is highly effective for dermatological treatments. The 2940nm wavelength is strongly absorbed by water within the skin, allowing controlled heating and evaporation of the superficial epidermal layer. This enables precise tissue removal with minimal thermal injury (Thermal Damage Range: 30–50μm).
As a result, the laser is ideal for superficial epidermal ablation without affecting the dermis. Post-treatment recovery is rapid, with minimal downtime required.
Indications
Skin Resurfacing: Reduction of wrinkles and scars
Skin Rejuvenation: Improvement of acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles
Lesion Removal: Effective removal of skin tags, moles, warts, and selected benign lesions
Fractional Applications: Reduction of moderate photoaging, fine lines, and uneven skin texture
Reduction of Jowl Fat and Nasolabial Folds: Skin tightening around the mouth and lower face
Advantages
-
Precise micrometer-level tissue evaporation ensures rapid skin recovery after treatment.
-
Minimal thermal damage to surrounding tissues reduces the risk of scarring and post-inflammatory pigmentation.
-
Suitable for both epidermal and deeper dermabrasion procedures.
-
Minimal pain during treatment, with no requirement for epidermal anesthesia.
-
User-friendly interface provides preset parameters based on treatment type and body area; beginners can operate easily, while professionals can save customized settings.
-
Precision fractional handpiece minimizes skin trauma and accelerates healing.
-
Integrated professional dehumidifier reduces laser energy loss during transmission and extends laser lifespan.
